I have a 1995 Tahoe. Its got a few miles on it, but I have modified it somewhat. My parents used to own a MAACO, so when my brother received the car, he got it painted metallic orange. Also, it has aftermarket headlights, taillights, grille, handlebar covers, and stepbars. All i need to chrome it out are 22" rims. The inside though, not too special. I have all that stock interior left in it, and as you could have imagined, it has been susseptible to a little bit of stains and aging. I am trying to put a new sound system in it, but i still need a new head unit and capacitor. Any clue on what kind of head unit to get? I want one with a usb port, two pre-amp outputs, one specifically for a subwoofer output. Also i need a capacitor, but i am not sure what kind to get. I want to know if matching the capacitor brand with the amplifier makes any difference. I have a 2000w PowerAcoustik BAMF amp.

This is kind of a follow up on Josephs question in his introduction thread. I have seen several sigs on other forums with the cartoon/custom pics of "your" car. I have wanted to do that with mine but have no discernable skills with photoshop or even paint...a little artistically challenged on computers. So if you guys that have em could let us know that would be awesome.
I decided to start another thread so that his intro thread does not get ...gotta give the guy his bragging space

yea im new here so if anybody's got any helpful hints or can help me out in any way let me know.

ok, so my name is Brent Heath and I drive a 1999 Jeep Cherokee Sport. I love my Jeep more than anything in this world. I give it all my attention. It always stays clean and I can't help that. I do not take it mudding or anything of that sort. It is modified but not heavily. It is green and has tinted windows, it has a 3.5 inch suspension lift with 31 10.50 Bridgestone Dualers A/T's and bullet hole rims. They're not a aggressive all-terrain tire, they're more like radials and I like that fact. It has the inline 6 engine which is the best engine ever made in my opinion. Not many miles for a '99 model. The interior is in good shape except for the headliner. Of course every jeep cherokee has had that problem. It has cloth seats and an aftermarket cd player in it. Thats about all the modifications that has been done to it. What I would like to do to it is mainly to the engine. I want to get a cold air intake and turbo or supercharger and any aftermarket upgrade that can be done to it to make it better, faster, and stronger. This Jeep is my world and I would love to make it to the nicest jeep you or anybody has ever seen. I mean really, who has seen a very fast, strong, lifted jeep cherokee rolling down the road? That would be me but I just can't afford it right now ... I would also like to do some audio mods. Like a new cd/dvd player in the dash and screens in the head rests. I would also like to install a amplifier and subs and general speakers.

If you would like to know more please let me know...

Thanks and have a great day, and a great ride.

Hey! Hows everybody doin? Good I hope. I ran across this page searching for car forums, and this obviously was my selection lol. My name is Josh Young, I am a resident of Ohio and I recently joined the ARMY and used my bonus money to purchase my new found love, a 1996 Cadillac Deville D'elegance with the 4.6l 32v Northstar v8. I love anything that has to do with the automotive world. My daily hobby is trying to figure out new things to do to the Caddy. I race sometimes, haven't been beaten yet. Amazing how such a supposed heavy car can move so quick lol.

Exterior color is a two tone newly painted october 28 2009...few days ago. It is an Electric Blue Metallic and Black Metallic. I have been working on this car for a long time and finally had time to get it painted. I have all chrome lights on the outside of my car for my headlights brake lights bumper and turn signal lights. But for customization and originallity i put a third brake light with my lettering on it. The Windows are tinted on the front and back. The 2 front windows are i think 35% and the 2 back windows and rear window are 5%.
There are new Euro gauges in the car that light blue and have a dimmer switch on part of the dash. I have a black and silver aftermarket steering wheel that has a quick release hub on it so you can take the steering wheel off at anytime. Seats are stock and Back seat just has a black cover on it right now. The ceiling is painted black and so is the carpet and the truck. I have a dual flip done CD player and 2 Dual 10" subs in the truck in a fiberglass enclosure.
These pictures are my interior ( Work in progress)

There are 17" Konig rims on the car. Not brand new but still looking good especially with the new paint job. Low profile 205/17/45 tires with red lettering.
Putting cold air intake in, rebuilding the engine, and putting more power into the engine hopefully with a supercharger or something else powerful. Also looking to get new 17" or bigger chrome rims for my car and lowering it about 1 1/2" to 2"

This car means EVERYTHING to me, ive been working on it while driving it for almost 3 years now and its been a tough road with school and work and finding time to work on it. Kind of hard to work on a car while driving it everywhere.

Im basically looking for a sponsership that can help me with the engine and other things under the hood and maybe some interior work (seats, dash equipment).

Also i am modifying my car because i love the way a car looks when it is completley redone and looking sharp. If anything a car thats all fixed up is the best thing to just look at and show off in the world.

Stock Components of 1999 Honda Accord EX V6 3.0L:
Standard 3.0L 200 hp V6 engine
Horsepower: 200 @ 5500 RPM
Torque (lb-ft): 195 @ 4700 RPM
4-Speed Automatic Overdrive Transmission - Rebuilt
City(mpg): 20 and Highway(mpg): 28
Alternator: 100 amp
Axle Ratio: 4.20
Fuel Type: regular unleaded
Fuel Tank: 17.1 gal.
Drive Type: Front Wheel Drive
Front Suspension: double wishbone
Front Anti-Roll Bar: front anti-roll bar
Front Springs: coil
Rear Suspension: double wishbone
Rear Anti-Roll Bar: rear anti-roll bar
Rear Springs: coil
Steering: rack & pinion
Brakes: 4 wheel disc
Vented Disc Brakes: front
Spare Tire and Wheel: compact steel

Modifications of 1999 Honda Accord EX V6 3.0L:
Rims: 17 inch black rims
Tires: 17 inch Raptor tires
Exhuast: Option Racing dual catback exhaust
Underbody Lights: StreetGlow 7 color neon lights
Engine: New Motor Mounts
Transmission: New Transmission Mounts

The rims I put on the car are an inch bigger than the stock Accord rims that were originally on there, I thought the stock rims looked alittle wimpy so I decided to step it up an inch while still keeping it within the racing look. With new rims I had to buy new tires so I went with Raptors, not the best choice but thats all funds would allow at the time. V6 Accord came with dual port exhuast but they just didnt do my engine justice and my car sounded like ever other car that rolled by, so I went with the 3 inch Option Racing dual exhaust. This dual exhuast set was put on because if they were any bigger than 3 inches I would of had to keep the silencers in for it to be street legal without having to put the silencers in and out every time I went somewhere to show it off or to just ride. The 7 color underbody light kit from StreetGlow was one of my top choices for the exterior look, since the car sits so low to the ground, the lights look stunning at shows hitting when the stereo bass hits. The new motor and transmission mounts was mandatory, the previous owner had taken the mounts off in certain areas for some reason, the transmission and motor kicked real hard into the hood, so new mounts had to be put on both to keep both from coming out of the front of the car.

The 1999 Honda Accord EX V6 3.0L was always one of my favorite cars since I was about 10 years old, I asked Santa every year for one with no luck. It wasn't until my 16th birthday that I was surprised with this very car from my mom. The car had been my passion since before I could even drive or before I even started middle school good. Once I got the car as a present, my passion for racing and showing off this car and modifying it when the funds are there has sky-rocketed. This car has also been my favorite because not many people around where I live have this type of car or passion for imports as I do. The 'King of the Road' around where I live is the Ford Mustang, no matter if it is completely stock. My passion and dream is to break the typical 'Ricer' standard and go above and beyond what most people think can and has been done with an import. My future modifications are cold air intake, sway bars, body kit, exterior components, new headers, v-tec module, etc.

I just bought a 2007 Honda Ridgeline RTL. I just purchased it on the 15th of October. It was a stock RTL. Since my purchase I have installed a Kenwood 9140 Navigations System w/back up camera. 18in Lorenzo wheels wraped in Nitto 420 tires. I also installed altezza taillights and chrome door handles. I should be getting my wind deflectors in soon so expect to see that. In the coming months I plan on having the bed sprayed with Rhino Liner, and purchasing a clifford alarm system, slotted rotors, and a bully bar. Following that I am researching a good exhaust system, and hopefully by then I can find some headlights. Right now I kind of have a skull theme going with the skull valve caps and licsense plate. Maybe some graphics in the future. If anyone has any suggestion please feel free to let me know. Thanks for checking out my thread.
